Two Trees for Ethiopian New Millennium

Seedlings for planting (by Abiyot B.)

On the occasion of the Ethiopian New Millennium all staffs of the institute of Biodiversity conservation in cooperation with RPSUD (Research Programme on Sustainable use of Dryland Biodiversity) project conducted tree planting on Sunday 15 July 07 in Kelala Dalocha District, Lume Wereda. It was a remarkable event and every one participated actively in planting seedlings of indigenous species such as African Olive tree [Olea europeae subsp. cuspidata], Cordia africana, Acacia sp., and Milletia ferruginea.
